Katie is a soprano with over 15 years of classical and theatrical performance experience. She first began singing solo in her church (Holy Family Parish) in Middletown, Ohio when she was 10 years old and hasn’t stopped singing since.
Katie holds a bachelors degree in Voice and Music Education from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has been actively involved with Sorg Opera Company, Middletown Lyric Theatre, Middletown Summer Youth Theatre, Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre and danced at The DeWeese Academy of Dance Arts for twelve years. She has won many scholarships and awards for her vocal and performing talents.Currently, Katie lives in Northern Kentucky with her husband, Rob. She taught general music and chorus for Mount Healthy City Schools for three years and is now a full time Dance & Drama teacher for Boone County Schools. Katie has spent the last five summers as a vocalist and performer at Paramount’s Kings Island.
